Catherine Bearder MEP said:

“Election or no election, the Tories must publish their plans to protect the public’s health.

“Air pollution is a major killer in the UK - 40,000 people die from poor air every year.

“We must take appropriate steps in the UK to reduce air pollution hots spots in our towns and cities

“Instead of campaigning on promises of future action, Mrs May’s ministers tell us now what actions they will take now.”
