Catherine visited students at Wood Green School in Witney on Friday to talk about what she wants to achieve as an MEP for the South East.
The 6th form students were keen to ask Catherine about Liberal Democrat proposals for dealing with both the financial and the environmental crises we face in Britain.
"The UK is in an ideal position to lead the way on environmental issues from the centre of Europe. More can be achieved in the battle against climate change, and to ensure environmental protection, by working with our European partners than by trying to do it alone."
"While the Conservatives want to isolate Britain from the European Union and undermine European cooperation on environmental sustainability, the Liberal Democrats will make sure Europe continues to lead the world on environmental issues and works towards achieving the results we so desperately need."
