S2R Europe at Olympic Park

Catherine with students from Bromley and Romania at the Olympic Park in Stratford

Last month S2R Europe, a project run by the educational social media network Radiowaves, took students from Ravensbourne School in Bromley and Colegiul National Banatean from Timisoara in Romania to visit the Olympic Park in Stratford.

As the site of the 2012 Olympic games, the visit to Stratford was an opportunity for the students to explore issues such as access to sports facilities and the way sport can bring people together. They put some questions on these topics to Catherine Bearder MEP, who was delighted to take part in the project.
