Catherine Bearder MEP gives a speech in the European Parliament on the gender pay gap and and transgender rights.
On average, European women work sixty days free every year in comparison to their male colleagues.
This translates to women earning 81p for every £1 a man earns.
Despite the assumption there is that taking time out to have children creates this gap, when in fact women earn less irrespective of whether they choose to have children.
Catherine Bearder MEP is calling for large companies on the stock exchange across the EU to publish their data. So employees can see for themselves whether they are getting a fair deal.
Also one-third of trans people have reported discrimination when seeking employment.
Mrs Bearder wants to see trans inclusive diversity training and legal gender recognition in companies across the EU
